Have you ever been curious about crafting your own flameworked pendant?

This is our full-length introduction to borosilicate flameworking. It is designed to create a strong understanding of the medium and the fundamentals needed to become a proficient flameworker. Teaching the chemistry and physics that you are ultimately always battling in order to create you masterpiece in the flame. Our final goal in this class is to create a marble or pendant of your own design.

Note: Glass needs 16 hours to cool down safely. Your piece will be available to collect from the following day or can be posted to you.

Participant requirements:

• Must be 14 yrs or older.

• Must wear organic clothing (nothing synthetic) that covers below the knee and closed-toed shoes.

• Must be in good physical health and able to move about independently, hear and see well.

• Didymium eyewear and other specialised equipment are provided.

A minimum of 3 students are required for the class to go ahead. If fewer numbers are registered a rebooking voucher will be issued with your convenience in mind.
